Play with coin faces rather than black and white discs
The rules use an 8×8 board: bracket the opponent’s faces between your own to flip them. The different coin designs make identifying each side part of the experience. The value of a coin does not affect the score: a 500-yen coin and a 1-yen coin each count as one.
Choose solo play against the CPU, or two-player play on the same device. The latter is a local mode rather than a match between remote devices.
Your first game
- Select “solo” or “two players” at the top. In solo play, you control the front faces and the CPU controls the backs.
- Click or tap an empty square that brackets at least one opposing face. Use the hint button to show legal moves.
- Hold the peek button to display fronts in white and backs in black. Release it to return to the coins.
Choose a single denomination or a mixed set to change how the board looks. A player with no legal move passes automatically. When neither player can move, the game ends even if empty squares remain.

The current game is stored in the browser you use. It is not automatically transferred to another device or browser. Starting a new game resets the current board after confirmation.
Start with one coin design and hints if identifying the faces distracts you from legal moves. Read the first-move and corner guide for a concrete board example and a short practice routine.
