An everyday habit can look like an animal’s talent
Answer ten randomly selected questions from a pool of 100 to find an animal with traits like your choices. The work combines original pixel animals, playful personality comparisons, and information about real animal behaviour.
The 50 animals include unusual species such as the aye-aye, binturong, and lowland streaked tenrec. You do not need to know their names to answer questions about meals, social situations, shopping, or daily routines.
Answer, discover, and share
- Open the official app and start the animal matching activity.
- Choose one of four answers for each everyday situation.
- After ten answers, read the animal result and the traits that matched your choices.
Questions come from ten areas of everyday life, with one per area. Both questions and choices are shuffled. Use an answered position in the progress bar to go back and change a response.
Read ecology and fill the catalogue
Each animal has three ecology notes and links to reference materials. Animals you encounter are recorded in this browser; undiscovered ones appear as silhouettes in the searchable 50-species catalogue.
Save a result image, copy a result link, or open an X post. You can also save an animal’s transparent pixel image. Shared result links do not include your answers or personal information.
Free and without registration
The app runs in PC and smartphone browsers. Discovery records are stored in the current browser. The personality comparison is an entertainment expression inspired by animal ecology, rather than a scientific measurement of human personality.
